Two Tickets to Greece

Blandine and Magalie were inseparable as teenagers growing up in Paris, but they went their separate ways as the years passed. After an unexpected reunion they decide to take the trip they always dreamed of as teenagers… a trip to Amorgos, the location in the Greek Islands where Luc Besson’s The Big Blue was shot. When they reach the destination, their dream vacation doesn’t go as planned, since they both have very different approaches to life and realize they don’t have much in common anymore. The loud and fearless Magalie is played by Laure Calamy (from the hit television show Call My Agent), while the more reserved and depressed Blandine is played by Olivia Côte (from last year’s AFF audience award-winning favorite The Rose Maker). Kristin Scott Thomas (last seen in AFF selection Military Wives) lets her hair down to play Bijou, a free-spirited jewelry designer living in Mykonos, who guides them around the island and provides an alternative voice of reason. Writer/Director Marc Fitoussi has crafted a charming and insightful comedy that navigates the highs and lows of female camaraderie and lifelong friendship …packed with laughter, tears, and gorgeous scenery.
