Vanessa is passionate about improving healthcare experience and outcomes and enjoys volunteering in retirement.

Recent Clinical Transformation projects/clients include; Western Connecticut Health System, Connecticut, AtlantiCare, New Jersey (recently joined Geisinger Health System), Billings Clinic, Montana, PeaceHealth, Portland, Oregon, Inspire Health Partners, Indiana and Memorial Health, Marietta, Ohio. Vanessa also supports new business and product development efforts for xG Health recently updating the xG Health advanced primary care model based on innovations at Geisinger Health System.

Vanessa has more than 25 years of experience in strategic planning, marketing and operations in the healthcare industry. She held executive team positions at Anne Arundel and MedStar Health systems and had responsibility for strategic planning, business development, service lines, marketing, community wellness, and physician sales. Vanessa’s experience includes roles as the Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development and the Vice President of Cardiovascular Services including the development and management of service lines on a regional level.

Vanessa started her healthcare management career in healthcare consulting with Ernst and Young where she worked for five years on numerous hospital feasibility studies, strategic plans and market assessments throughout the southeast region. Vanessa is from Boston and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA and her
MBA from Boston University. She served extensively on the American Heart Association board in Baltimore, MD., and currently serves on the board for the Howard County Senior Village. Vanessa has two children and lives with her husband Clarke in Annapolis, Maryland.
