The Annapolis Film Festival is made possible through the generous support of a diverse community of partners who share a commitment to the power of film and storytelling.
We welcome support from Corporate Sponsors, Individual Donors, Foundations & Institutions, In-Kind Sponsors, and Government Funding partners,
each engaging with the festival in a different way.
Our Sponsorship & Donor Opportunities are structured to provide meaningful engagement, recognition, and festival experiences such as passes and special event access. While many supporters choose to participate at a level that includes benefits and support such as an ad buy, others elect to structure their support as a fully tax-deductible charitable contribution (see “How These Tiers Work for You” and “Important Information about Benefits” below).
Whether your goal is brand visibility, community engagement, or philanthropic impact, we offer flexible ways to align your support with your priorities.
The levels above are designed to serve every type of supporter. What a given level means in practice depends on who is giving— for example, a $5,000 Signature commitment might represent brand visibility for a business, a program-aligned grant for afoundation, or a personal philanthropic gift for an individual. Whatever your reason for supporting AFF, we are glad to work with you to structure recognition and reporting to fit.
Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities:
Recognition, benefits, and participation opportunities are outlined at each level above. We welcome the opportunity to discuss how your sponsorship can best meet your goals and any applicable funding orcompliance requirements. Limited underwriting opportunities are available for showcases and select films.
Sponsors at the $10,000 level and above receive expanded visibility opportunities, including prominent on-site placement suchas vertical banners, sponsoring a party or venue, logo projection (gobos), and other premium recognition elements.
Foundations & Institutions:
If your funding agreement requires specific recognition language, impact reporting, or programalignment, let us know. We have experience meeting these requirements for prior grant awards and can adapt accordingly.
Individual Donors:
See the pass values listed under “Important Information about Benefits” below to understand what portionof your gift is tax-deductible at each level, and let us know if you'd prefer to decline benefits listed in exchange for a fully deductible donation vs. a partially deductible donation.
Government & Public Funding Partners:
The festival has a track record of partnering with public agencies, including grantcompliance and reporting for prior public funding. If you represent a government agency, arts council, or tourism board, we'd welcome a direct conversation about how to structure support.
