
Jeannine Wayson is the newly elected Chair of the Board of the Annapolis Film Festival, where she leads the Board in shaping vision, strategy, community engagement, and long‑term growth. Working alongside Festival Directors Lee Anderson and Patti White, she helps elevate the festival’s profile, strengthen partnerships, secure funding, and champion the power of film to connect and inspire the Annapolis community.
Jeannine is a longtime civic leader with a strong record of service. She previously served as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County, where she oversaw major initiatives, including the $8+ million capital campaign and the organization’s Annual Awards Dinner. She also founded and chaired the Director’s Circle at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC), expanding community awareness and philanthropic support for environmental research and STEM education. Additionally, she served on the Anne Arundel Community College Board of Directors, supporting governance and strategic direction.
In her professional life, Jeannine is a highly successful real estate agent with Coldwell Banker with over 20 years experience and a dedicated Bikram Yoga Practitioner and Instructor. She is proudest of her daughter, Kacey Stephens, co‑owner of a cutting edge business, called SHED, her successful son-in-law, Sandy Stephens, Chair of the Boys & Girls Clubs as well as owner of the thriving company Cytherian, LLC., her partner, John Jessup, an avid sailor and recently retired engineer, as well as delighting in her THREE beautiful grandchildren, Abby, Cole and Bailey!
