Beginning its journey as a short film at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, The Climb is now a feature film that continues to examine the comical intricacies of male friendship. Michael Covino and Kyle Marvin play Mike and Kyle, whose life-long relationship is put to the test when Mike sleeps with Kyle’s fiancé. The visual potential of artful comedy is proven through the use of creative camera work in conjunction with inventive storytelling. This feature-length version of The Climb began its festival tour in 2019 at the Cannes Film Festival where it won the Un Certain Regard - Jury Coup de Coeur award and has since screened at all the top festivals from Toronto and Telluride to Sundance and SXSW.
